Tushielaw Inn, Ettrick Valley

The Tushielaw Inn is a 250 year old coaching inn in the Ettrick valley sitting high above Ettrick Water and looking out into open countryside.  There are 3 ensuite letting rooms and 2 more basic rooms with shared facilities for weary walkers and cyclists.  A good breakfast is available to set you up for the day, as well as packed lunches if you need them.  Cosy snug bar and restaurant available for your evening meal.

The Cross Keys Inn, Ettrickbridge

An atmospheric old coaching inn in the pretty village of Ettrickbridge.  Recently refurbished and the winner of the 2023 Scottish Thistle award for Best Pub, you are guaranteed a warm welcome whether you are joining us for a wonderful dining experience, a visit to the pub or looking for accommodation.  A pet-friendly perfect retreat from which to explore this beautiful area.  7 comfortable ensuite bedrooms, including family rooms.

The Gordon Arms, Yarrow Valley

The Gordon Arms is an old coaching Inn nestling in the Yarrow Valley. It was a favourite haunt of James Hogg, Sir Walter Scott and even Robert Burns was said to have stopped here. It is now an award winning restaurant with rooms (AA culinary rosette and 4* rooms), open from Thursday to Sunday.

All Seasons Philipburn Country House Hotel

The All Seasons Philipburn Country House Hotel welcomes all visitors.  18 bedrooms, bar, lounge and restaurant open daily serving light lunches and evening meals.  We are pet friendly.  Outside dining is available in the beautiful gardens, terrace and patio area.

Neverland Weekend

Bowhill A Peter Pan inspired weekend for 11- 4pm

Cost: normal entry fees apply and additional charge for activities

A Peter Pan inspired weekend for families who never want to grow up! Build dens like the Lost Boys, create magical crafts inspired by Tinkerbell or take part in a Pirate themed workshops Captain Hook would love!

With so much to do, you’ll be sure of a great day out for all the family.

Saturday Ranger Club Bowhill Eastate

Bowhill House suitable for 6yrs and over £5.00 per child

eturning for a second year our Saturday Club will bring some of the fun of Holiday Club to the weekends, a chance to leave the parents behind and get out for some woodland fun! Running throughout the season sessions will include favourites like den building along with some bush craft, fire lighting and woodland games.

The club is suitable for age 6 and over. Over 8’s can be left unattended.

Price: £5 per child.

Ettrick Valley Leisure Ride 29 or 48 mile routes

Charity Cycle for Macmillian Cancer Support 10am start

The rides are both circular taking in the beautiful surrounding landscape of the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys with the ride mainly on well surfaced back roads with very little traffic.
